South Oxhey's Reece Bellotti will return to the ring on April 2 on the undercard of Callum Smith's European super middleweight title fight against Hadillah Mohoumadi.

Bellotti, 25, is 5-0 after his latest success against Elvis Guillen at the Copper Box Arena at the end of January.

The featherweight chalked up his fourth stoppage by flooring Guillen in the seventh of eight rounds.

Bellotti, who has fought exclusively in London in his fledgling career to date, will now go on the road for the first time to fight in Smith's home city of Liverpool.

The Watford fan will be on the undercard at the Echo Arena in Liverpool as Smith (18-0) meets Frenchman Mohoumadi in a final eliminator for Badou Jack's WBC super-middleweight title.

Bellotti tweeted: "Just spoke to @EddieHearn Road trip for the fans Liverpool April 2nd! @CallumSmith23 Undercard buzzing let's go #TeamBellotti #BomberBellotti".

Smith claimed the British title by blitzing fellow Liverpudlian Rocky Fielding in November.
