Garston Ladies Under-13 Lionesses booked their place in the County Cup final courtesy of an impressive 4-0 victory over Harvesters.
The Lionesses showed their intent from the outset with a goal from Nicole Zermani in the first two minutes.
Good passing from Harley Carr led to Issie Smith providing the assist for Claudia Bulow, who added a second.
Bulow netted again just before the break and Zermani sealed the victory with her second.
The Under-16 Jaguars went down to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Bedford Jets, but the Under-13 Tigers progressed to the semi-finals of the League Shield with a 1-0 win over Bengeo following a Louise MacLennan finish from a Charlotte Rice cross.
The Under-12 Wildcats’ cup dreams ended with a 10-0 defeat at Harvesters, while the Under-12 Leopards lost 4-1 to Tottenham with Jeneice Benjamin scoring Garston’s goal.
Garston Ladies 96 ended their cup run with a 11-1 defeat at Royston.
With only nine players it was always going to be an uphill challenge for Garston, with Yasmine Walford making a number of good saves to prevent the margin of defeat from getting even bigger.
