Croxley Green became the latest victims of the Bedmond Sports and Social Club bulldozer on Saturday as the visitors breezed to an 8-0 victory to make it 12 wins out of 12 in Senior Division One this season.

Mathew Hodges and Garry Sippetts led the way with a brace apiece and Jamie Hatchett, Ian Hurst, Aaron Lewis and Daniel Regan were also on target as Bedmond remained second in the table, five points behind leaders Knebworth but with four games in hand.

The Division One high-flyers did have 13 league wins to their name, but the withdrawal of Colney Heath Reserves has led to that result being expunged.

Bedmond are fighting on multiple trophy fronts and this weekend their attention turns to an Anagram Records Trophy quarter-final at Springfield.

The majority of Premier Division games were postponed, but Evergreen’s trip to Ware Sports ended in disappointment as the visitors were beaten 2-0.
