Premier Division

Having lost convincingly to title contenders Oakview the previous weekend, a double header against Vision United gave Reed Rangers the opportunity to move clear of their rivals at the top of the table.

Everything went to plan in the first game as Reed convincingly took the three points with a 6-2 victory thanks to a brace from Adam Crassweller and single efforts from leading striker Dom David, George Hobson, Lucas Gibbon and Chris Wells. Adam Wallace scored both goals for the visitors.

However, Vision spoilt Reed’s morning in the reverse fixture, winning 4-1 with goals from Ben Awad, Cain Davey and Andrew Richard plus an own goal. Nathan Gullin replied for Rangers.

Mid-table Green Dragon were crushed 7-0 at home by Oakview with Spencer Bellotti taking much of the credit due to his four goals. Tom Kennedy, Simeon Armstrong and Tom Inch also found the back of the net.

With Reed falling short, this result lifted Oakview back into top spot with games in hand over their rivals.

Division Two

Against a tough and determined Rickmansworth Athletic side, West Herts were unable to secure that elusive win which would have seen them go to the top of the table.

Indeed, for most of the first half it looked as if the Stags would lose their unbeaten record. They were second best in all departments and found themselves two goals down after 30 minutes. But the match was then halted for 20 minutes due to atrocious weather conditions and this proved to be the turning point for the visitors.

After the restart, West Herts fought their way back into the game and started to dominate thanks to outstanding play by midfielder Kayon Howells.

Captain and centre-back Roger Lake started the fightback with a fine shot from 20 yards which gave the keeper no chance and with only five minutes left, substitute Ashley Bridewell headed home from a corner after the Athletic defence failed to clear to take a deserved share of the points in a 2-2 draw.

Division Three

The Swan maintained their winning formula with a 7-2 victory over visitors Green Dragon Reserves to continue their movement up the table.

Enjoying a golden spell, Patrick O'Boyle hit five for The Swan as Max Urgo and Thomas Emery added one each. Tommy Cox and Jess McFadzean scored for the visitors.

A closely-fought contest saw Tudor Vets succumb 1-0 to visitors Bell Rangers, who took the points after a first-half strike by Louis Soaper and now sit just below their opponents in the table on goal difference. However, both sides still look good value for a promotion spot.
