Premier League newcomers Vision United booked their place in the final against either Rickmansworth Rangers or North Watford with a 4-1 victory over second division outfit Croxley FC.

Adam Wallace led the way for Vision with a brace, along with single strikes from Winston Taylor and Joel Norris, while Carl Petit notched the home side’s consolation.

Premier Division

In a double header against Green Dragon, St Josephs secured all six points after winning the first game 3-0 thanks to goals from Roy Byron, Connor Flanagan and Sam Clarke.

Both Flanagan and Clarke again found the net in the second leg, but it was Harry Seabrook who took the plaudits with a hat-trick to wrap up a 5-1 win after Luke O’Malley had responded for Dragon.

Division One

The division’s top two Chorleywood Club and Old Fullerians looked to have both secured a promotion spot after their clash ended in a 1-1 draw.

Leading striker Michael East was on target for Chorleywood and Dan Woosley for the visitors.

One side that could still upset Chorleywood’s promotion hopes are Oxhey Lions, who effectively killed off Met Police (Bushey)’s own ambitions after taking all the points in their double header following a close-fought 3-2 win in the first contest.

A brace from Craig Gorrie and strike by Ollie Brinton secured the points after Dan Branch and Rob Gradwell had replied for Met.

In the reverse fixture Oxhey found the going much easier, running out 6-2 victors as Gorrie improving his strike rate with a hat-trick, Jamie Kern scored a brace and there was a single strike from Barrie Newman-Thomas. Costas Harris and Gradwell struck for the Bushey side.

Mid-table South Oxhey Labour Club were shocked into action in the second half against bottom side North Watford after going in at the break two goals down following a brace by by Shoaib Ali. But an excellent hat-trick from Rob Martin was enough to give Oxhey the points in a 3-2 win.

West Watford missed an opportunity to move up the table, losing out 3-1 to Gadeside Rangers who had Ryan Boyle, Russ Popplewell and Adam Hills to thank for the points and a result which should keep them in the top half of the table at season end.

Division Two

A 3-1 win against RD FC saw West Herts secure top spot and take the second division title.

The Stags dominated the first half and goals from Chris Colman (2) and Jeremy Audic in the first 30 minutes gave the visitors a comfortable lead before Jake Levy pulled one back just before half-time.

The visitors were under pressure from the restart and keeper Rob Miller pulled off a superb save from a point-blank header following a corner to kill off any fightback by the home side.

The Stags stayed strong and but for twice striking the woodwork and poor finishing could have run out more comfortable winners.

Home side Cassiobury Rangers thrashed Oxhey Rangers 9-0 and the star of the show was Joe Mortimer who struck seven times, while Alex Smyth got into the act with two goals of his own.

Langleybury Cricket Club kept ahead of fellow mid-table side Cassiobury Rangers with a 4-0 victory over home side Croxley FC Reserves through efforts from Gary Cook, Matt Honey (2) plus an own goal.

Division Three

Bell Rangers’ hopes for promotion hit the buffers after going down 4-0 to visitors Evergreen, who moved into top spot thanks to a hat-trick from top scorer Anthony Benvenga and a Callum Rimmer goal.

Scott Austin’s goal for Green Dragon Reserves was not enough to prevent Cassiobury Revolution taking the points and easing their relegation fears after Callum Hearn, Alex MacDonald, David Marcyniuk and Kyle Maundrell secured a 4-1 victory.

Sun Postal Sports also moved clear of the relegation places with a 7-3 victory over bottom side Railway Arms.

Hat-tricks from both Louis Hakner and Luke Horne, plus a strike by Anamul Hassan, were more than sufficient despite goals from Railway’s Mohammed Elsadaway and two from Shane Perrin.

A tight competitive match between two ambitious sides saw Tudor Vets spoil The Swan’s party in the first leg of their double header with a 2-1 win through Grant Renphrey and Matt Winyard, with Patrick O'Boyle scoring for the visitors.

But The Swan turned the tables in the reverse fixture as Danny Brennan, Leo Kokaj and Vilson Culaj all netted to ensure both sides finished the morning with three points apiece.

Hertsmere (Sunday) clung onto second spot and retain a chance of the title despite struggling to take the points in a 2-0 victory over bottom-placed Woodlands United through a goal in each half from Nathan Slinger and Charlie Watts.

Division Four

Home side Ardent FC stunned title hopefuls Fox and Hounds by inflicting their first defeat of the campaign as Glenn Rawlings and Nick Buschfield-Birch secured a 2-0 victory.

Bushey Rangers lost a tense match 2-1 to visitors AC Little Silhouette of Milan following a brace from Ryan Fullan. Dan Gillespie found the net for the home side.

Second-placed Ripstone FC kept their promotion hopes alive with a 5-1 triumph over The Compasses, who now need to hope that their rivals slip up if they are to secure second spot.

Matthew Elgey scored for the visitors but goals from Matthew Sharkey, James Laws, Red O'Donoghue, Ollie Brill and Ben Denyer kept Ripstone on track.

WSFL Invitation Cup

Woodlands Laurels overcame fellow fourth division side Garston Rangers 4-1 despite being held 1-1 at half-time in the first match in the competition.

Alessandro Rebecchi found the net for Rangers before Klevis Delshavi equalised. But after the break teammates Simon Makin and Chris Farr secured the points before an own goal pushed Laurels out of sight.
