Time is running out for clubs to enter this year’s Watford Observer Fourteen14 cricket competitions.
Entries for this year’s Shield close on Thursday and to date eight teams have signed up to take part.
Led by holders Radlett, who will be seeking an unprecedented third consecutive triumph, the others are Abbots Langley, Kings Langley, Leverstock Green (two sides), Northchurch, Rickmansworth School Staff and West Herts.
The event usually attracts more than 20 entrants and organisers will be disappointed if the number drops below that figure this year.
