Moor Park golfer Callum Shinkwin will face Eduardo De La Riva in the first round of the Paul Lawrie Match Play on Thursday.
It will be Shinkwin's first competition since competing at the Open Championship last month.
The Bushey-based golfer will be hoping to maintain his form over the last month after back-to-back top tens at the Open de France and the Scottish Open.
Shinkwin returns to Scotland for this week's matchplay tournament which takes place at Archerfield Links.
His first opponent, in the knockout competition, will be De La Riva. The Spaniard has only posted one top ten this season and is 105th on the Race to Dubai rankings compared to 67th place for Shinkwin.
