Watford's Helen Freeman scored 12 points out of 21 in the first quarter of the women's wheelchair basketball semi-final as Great Britain lost 89-78 to USA at the Paralympics.
The former Ricksmansworth pupil, who scored 29 points in total, co-captained the side who will now play in the bronze medal match against Germany or the Netherlands.
The Great Britain 12 finished seventh at London 2012 and will hope to create another piece of history by winning a Paralymic medal.
