Watford Ladies Youth Under-17 Hornets narrowly missed out on a place in the Herts Cup final after losing 2-1 to Stevenage Borough Ladies.
The Hornets had levelled the score through Jenny Hughes before they were edged out a by a late goal.
In the Herts Girls Partnership League, the Under-17/18 Harts enjoyed a hard-fought 3-2 away win at Bedford Ladies & Girls.
Two goals from Mikhela Treon and one from Sophia Citro saw the Harts take all three points from the eventful contest.
It was also a good weekend for the Under-15 Harts, who secured a 4-1 win over Bishops Stortford.
Neve Mayes bagged a brace and further goals from Amina Hanif and Connie Woodward secured the win for Harts.
However, the same good fortune could not be said for the Under-13 Harts, who lost 3-1 to Stortford’s Under-13 side.
Lily Hanlon scored Watford’s only goal in the defeat.
Grace Blow found the back of the net twice for the Under-10 Harts in their away match against City Youth Under-10 South.
