A young Judo star in the making has won double gold at his first 2017 National ranking events last weekend.
Haydn Williams returned from the English Championships with the medal after straight wins in all rounds.
This result consolidated the 14-year-olds number one position in the National League were Ippon wins are used for selection in Great Britain’s futures programme.
The year 10 Parmiter’s School pupil also won the first gold medal at Walsall’s Midland Age Group Championships the previous weekend.
Williams’ coach Pete Brent said: “I was particularly impressed with Hayden.
“It was an impressive performance in a tough group.”
