Garston Ladies bounced back from last week’s cup defeat with a 2-1 defeat over table toppers Sandy.
Goals from Lucy Zecchin and Robyn Blanchard gave the Purples a well-deserved lead and a late goal from the visitors was nothing more than a consolation.
The 96 managed their first win of 2017 in a 5-2 victory against Evergreen.
Garston raced to a 4-0 lead at half-time courtesy of Lauren Berryman, Leah Crocket and a double from Jade Roberts.
Connie Coombes added to the lead after the break before Evergreen snatched two late goals.
It was a tough weekend for the Under-15 Pumas who were only able to field nine players for their match against Watford Ladies Harts and went down 7-1 as a result.
Raaya Thanki got Garston’s lone goal.
The Under-13 Jaguars faced Leopards with Jaguars’ Sienna Noel-Willams and Zunairah Khan ensuring the win for their side.
And the Under-12 Lions picked up a second win of the season in a 4-2 win over Pro:Direct Academy.
