Garston Ladies fell to a disappointing 4-0 loss to Sherrardswood on Sunday.

The Purples are still third in the table with six games left to play, but there are five teams in the title hunt.

The Under-18s suffered a cruel 5-3 defeat at Harvesters. Having found themselves 4-1 down at half-time, they reduced the deficit to 4-3 thanks to two goals from Jade Roberts and an Amy Robb single, only for their opponents to score again.

Harley Carr, Issie Smith and Nicole Zermani (2) struck as the Under-14 Lionesses made sure of top spot in League Cup qualifying with a 4-0 win over Herts Girls.

While the Under-14 Tigers lost 6-0 to St Albans City and the Under-13 Jaguars went down 8-0 at Stevenage Borough, the Under-13 Leopards came from behind to beat Harvesters 4-2 thanks to a brace apiece from Emma Green and Bliss Murray.

The Under-13 Wildcats lost 2-0 against Bishops Stortford after sportingly agreeing to drop to seven-a-side to match their opponents, and Safiya Dean scored the Under-12 Lions’ lone goal in their 8-1 defeat to Berkhamsted Raiders.

The Under-12 Panthers continued their fine form with a 7-1 victory over St Albans City South. Madison Broch scored four, Elektra Jones bagged two and Kerry White a single.

Lucie Kirby’s goal gave the Under-12 Pumas the interval lead but they ultimately lost 3-1 at Chorleywood.

The Under-11 League Cup will definitely be heading to Garston for the second year running, as the Jaguars and the Wildcats set up an all-purple final at the qualifying tournament.
