Callum Shinkwin will get his Open Championship campaign under way at 12.20pm on Thursday alongside Bill Haas and Cameron Smith at Royal Birkdale.
The Bushey-based golfer, who qualified for the major for the second year running aftter missing out in a play-off for the Scottish Open title yesterday, is in the 31st of the 52 three-ball groups that will be competing for the famous claret jug at the Southport course.
The Moor Park Golf Club professional's playing partners will be 35-year-old American Haas, who has won six times on the PGA Tour during his career, and 23-year-old Australian Smith, whose best results include a tie for fourth at the 2015 US Open.
Having been given a lunchtime start for round one, the trio will be among the early starters for Friday's second round and are due to be the fifth group to tee off at 7.19am.
