Sisters Remi and Marli Jessop were once again on top form as they took home five medals from the Tri County Championships.

The competition saw athletes from Middlesex, Kent and Hertfordshire take part and the two St Joan of Arc students were on song through the weekend’s action.

On the opening day 14-year-old Marli took part in the 6om hurdles and ran a time of 8.88 seconds to take home the gold medal.

Not to be outdone, Remi, 17, clocked a personal best 26.59 in the Under-20 200m to emerge victorious from the event.

Heading into the second day of the championships both girls were set to compete in a number of events and kept their performance levels up to collect more medals.

Marli managed to record a personal best-equalling time of eight seconds flat in the 60m,which proved to be enough to win a silver medal.

She added a further gold in the long jump with an effort of 5.1m.

Remi would add another silver to the sisters’ haul with another personal best time of 7.97 in the 60m.
