Watford are looking for new owners after chairman Graham Simpson announced he is looking to step down.
Simpson has decided, after six years in charge, to look for a new leader to take the club forward. The largest shareholder, Lord Ashcroft, and Simpson are both ready to sell their shares.
Simpson said: "During my tenure I believe the club has made rapid progress both on and off the pitch.
"What is important now is that this progress is maintained and we find someone who is prepared to invest in the club's long term future."
