Abbots Langley's Mark Walsh will face Terry Jenkins in the second round of darts World Grand Prix after he beat ex-world champion Steve Beaton.
It will be a tough ask for Walsh as Jenkins has been runner-up in the competition for the past two years.
The builder won the first set against Beaton without reply and looked set for a comfortable match until his opponent came back and forced the deciding set.
But Walsh regained his range and cruised to victory.
