Watford’s new signing Jure Travner and trialist Claudio Beauvue both start in today’s pre-season friendly at Wealdstone.

Fellow new signings Danny Graham and Scott Severin also make the starting XI.

Tommy Smith, Ross Jenkins, Jobi McAnuff, Will Hoskins and Al Bangura were all ruled out earlier this week but Don Cowie is the latest to drop out of the game, which will be used as a testimonial to Stone’s boss Gordon Bartlett, with illness.

Wealdstone: Woods; McCoy, Jones, Gray, Massey, Quaye, Forbes, O’Leary, Alexander, Ngoyi, Spendlove. Subs: Thomas, Ashe, Locke, Osbourne, Lafeite, During, Lewis.

Watford: Lee; Doyley, Williamson, Mariappa, Travner; Beauvue, Severin, Eustace, Harley; Graham, Priskin. Subs: Irving, Oshodi, Kiernan, Brooks, Hodson, Bryan, Henderson, Sordell, Ellington.
