Roz Fullylove posted a huge personal best performance as one of two Watford Joggers competing in the St Albans 5k on Saturday.
Fullylove had only set her previous best time late last year but her flawless training paid off as she took 99 seconds off her record to finish in 22.59.
Running in a new age category, the impressive time saw her finish as sixth lady, crossing the line 34th overall.
She was joined at the event by Nick Slade who also ran well, completing the course in 22.01 to finish 27th overall.
Elsewhere for the Joggers, club chairman Colin Taylor was the sole representative at the Southern Cross Country Championships in Stanmer Park, Brighton.
Taylor ran well over the nine mile course, finishing in 1.07.32.
