Only three adult matches played as weather hits Watford teams hard

The local football programme was all but wiped out by the freezing temperatures and snow over the weekend.

All of the Spartan South Midlands League and Herts Senior County League teams from Watford and the surrounding areas had their games called off on Saturday, while the entire Watford Sunday League and Olympian League schedules were also postponed.

Most of the Arlon Printers West Herts Saturday League fixtures also had to be called off but three games did survive the freeze - at Hunton Bridge, AFC Storm and Abbots Langley.
