Watford Observer Fourteen14 Shield semi-finals to be rearranged yet again

Steps are being taken to yet again rearrange the Watford Observer Fourteen14 Shield semi-finals as the weather continues its seemingly relentless disruption to this year's annual cricket knockout competitions.

West Herts' last-four clash with Watford Town A was called off by hosts Met Police Bushey this morning, less than 24 hours after the other semi-final between Langleybury A and West Herts was postponed late on due to the pitch at Watford Town's Woodside ground being declared unfit for play.

It is now hoped both matches will be played early next week, allowing the final to take place at Chipperfield Clarendon on the rearranged date of Thursday, July 19.
