Watford Joggers’ Robin Tremaine sets new record

Watford Joggers’ Robin Tremaine set a new club record at the Bushey quarter marathon.

A total of nine Watford members were in action at the event and it was Tremaine who led the side home in 42.43 - a new best MV50 time.

Greg Hill was next over the line in 45.10 while Julie Rice stopped the clock on 51.15.

Elly Bell claimed a time of 54.06 and just over a minute later Libby Boi ended with 55.08.

Tony Rumbol (1.05.02), Chris Roberts (1.05.36), Jeff Peters (1.09.05) and Kika Watford (1.30.24) also completed the course.

Meanwhile, Nick Slade and Roz Fullylove ran together at the Boddington 50k. Both crossed the line to claim a time of 5.46.14. Watford Joggers are a sociable running club, welcoming runners and walkers of all abilities. For details log onto www.watfordjoggers.org.uk.
