Little Hay Golf Club’s Chris Marsden reaches UK Ladies Public Golf Course Championship

Little Hay Golf Club’s Chris Marsden has made it through to the final of the UK Ladies Public Golf Course Championship.

She will travel to the Eden course at St Andrews next month after qualifying for the event by achieving the runners-up sport in the Regional final held at Laleham Golf Club in Surrey.

Meanwhile, the senior men side held the annual John McDonough Trophy – Little Hay’s annual three-club competition.

Frank Klimaszewski came out on top with 44 points, followed by Michael Clark with 39. Earlier in the week, the senior’s team came out on top 4-2 in a match against Whitewebbs.

Little Hay’s younger players competed for the August medal and Jake Conroy claimed victory.

He scored 67 points, two ahead of nearest rival Aqib Raja. George Archer rounded off the top three with 71.
