AIDY BOOTHROYD was a satisfied man on Wednesday night after seeing his side put four unanswered goals past Wealdstone in their first pre-season friendly.
Tamas Priskin, Marlon King and Tommy Smith all found the net in the opening 14 minutes as Watford threatened to run riot.
Boothroyd fielded a different XI in the second half and saw Jordan Parkes make it four with an 89th-minute strike.
"We are still a little bit rusty but the movement is starting to come and things are starting to fall into place," said the manager.
"Whenever you come up against a team like Wealdstone you know you are going to get a tough game. I was delighted they were leaving their foot in on our players because it meant we had to get ourselves going."
