MET POLICE BUSHEY Sports Club is set to play host to a feast of cricket tonight.

For the first time in the history of the Watford Observer Linden Homes Knockout Plate competition, the semi-finals of the will both take place simultaneously at the same venue.

Watford Town B meet Met Police Bushey in the first semi-final while Rickmansworth take on Unicorn in the other last-four clash, with both matches starting at 6.15pm.

The match between Watford Town and Met Police could be a classic. Met Police boast eight wins out of eight in Division Eight of the Saracens Herts League and the match is given extra spice by the fact that a number of Police players used to ply their trade at Watford Town.

Gareth Thomason, Steve Long and Sam Mazurek are likely to be the key performers for the home side while Town will be looking for big contributions from Mark Southam and Karon Goel, the Indian star.

Unicorn, meanwhile, will be bidding to reach the final for the second time in three years and they will rely heavily on the form of Mark Brazier, the Kings Langley all-rounder who scored 90 in the last round.
