Sarries skipper relishing 'crucial week'

Neil de Kock is confident Saracens can successfully navigate through one of their toughest weeks of the season, starting with the daunting trip to Leicester Tigers tomorrow (Saturday).

The Men in Black head to Welford Road searching for their first win there before taking on Welsh glamour club the Ospreys in the EDF Energy Cup semi final at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

The Sarries skipper is relishing both tests and believes his side are capable of winning both having arrested a run of three defeats in Sunday's win over Sale Sharks.

"The club has never won at Welford Road and that is a massive challenge in itself," said the scrum half. "Leicester will be missing some guys to the Six Nations but still pose a massive challenge for any team.

"It will be my first game at Welford Road and I'm looking forward to it. If you get any result other than a loss at Leicester you would take it."

"The win against Sale was crucial in terms of going forward," added the South African. "We believe we've turned the corner.

"A good result at Leicester would go a long way in creating that confidence for the game against the Ospreys. Their players will all be on a high after such a successful Six Nations campaign with Wales. It's a crucial week for us."
