Sarries boss praises Henson
Alan Gaffney heaped praise on Wales and Ospreys centre Gavin Henson after his man-of-the-match try scoring display helped dump Saracens out of the Anglo-Welsh Cup.
Henson, one of Wales' media darlings on and off the pitch, is arguably enjoying the best form of his career and Gaffney knew he would become a star when he first laid eyes on him as a fresh faced youngster.
"He has always been a good player," said the Sarries rugby director. "I first saw him when I was at Leinster in 2000 and we played a friendly against Swansea. I saw this 18-year-old who could play a bit.
"He has had a few ups and downs over the years but he's a great player with enormous ability."
