Watford youngster Alex Jakubiak has agreed a loan deal to remain at Dagenham & Redbridge until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old originally joined the Daggers in November on a one-month loan and that was then extended until the end of January.

But Jakubiak - who has made eight appearances for Dagenham, scoring twice – is now scheduled to remain with the east London club until the end of the campaign.

The Scotland Under-21 international signed his first professional contract with the Hornets in May when he agreed a two-year deal, with the club having the option of an additional year.

Jakubiak made his professional debut when he started for the Golden Boys in the final game of last season – his solitary outing for the Hornets.

He had previously played 11 games on loan at Conference side Braintree, scoring once, and spent time early this campaign at Oxford United, where he again found the net once in ten outings.
