Hornets youngster Bernard Mensah has joined Conference side Braintree Town on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old has made one first-team appearance for the Golden Boys this season, which came from the substitutes’ bench in Watford’s 2-0 defeat against AFC Bournemouth last month.
Mensah, who also spent two months on loan at Conference leaders Barnet earlier in the campaign, returns to familiar surroundings at Braintree.
He spent three months at Cressing Road last season but a leg injury cut short his stay.
