Excellent result Might have to eat my words about going down Really great to see so many youngsters from our own set up playing so well keep it up

says...

WooHOOO. that young back 5 is doing the business! Well done MM!

says...

Yes!!! And at the monent we are top six :)

says...

Thank you, Timar....again! Same guy that helped Sweden win against Hungary...

says...

Argyle are throwing the dice big time! Lets hold on and be strong!

whistle icon 90:00: Final whistle Watford win away from home again and Scott Loach's contribution cannot be underestimated

90:00: The four minutes of injury time are up and Mackie's shot from 30 yards which went wide should be the end of it

90:00: Then Plymouth could have snatched an equaliser moments later but Fallon headed over from eight yards

90:00: Graham could have made sure of the win when Cowie put him through but Larrieu did well to save with his feet

substitution 90:00: Substitution Hoskins for Jenkins

88:00: There were five Plymouth players in the box as Watford failed to clear the ball but Timar somehow headed the ball out for a goal kick and missed the group of players in front of him

substitution 85:00: Substitution Cleverley's last contribution was to shoot over before being replaced by Harley

82:00: Whatever Loach has eaten I want some. He did well to parry Mackie's inswinging cross from the left away before it went in the bottom corner and then after the set piece was cleared, Duguid's dipping half volley was tipped over by the Hornets keeper

says...

Sounds like we're under a lot of pressure in this half? Hope that we can keep another clean sheet.

80:00: Ellington was put through but Arnason was able to keep pace with the striker and blocked his shot six yards out

77:00: Loach has been superb today and he came and collected McNamee's cross into the six yard box

75:00: A cross from Fallon was set to be headed in by Wright-Phillips but Doyley headed the ball over his own bar

substitution 73:00: Substitution Triple substitution Bradley Wright-Phillips, Alan Judge and Rory Fallon for Alan Gow, Cillian Sheridan and Chris Clark

70:00: Watford had a two-on-two break but Eustace was selfish and tried to go alone and was tackled, rather than pass to Graham

substitution 68:00: Substitution Lansbury goes off for Ellington

66:00: A dangerous break from Plymouth results in Duguid having a shot deflect off Hodson for a corner but nothing comes of the set piece

65:00: Nice build up from Watford results in Jenkins having a shot from 20 yards easily saved by Larrieu

64:00: A teasing Sawyer cross from the left is deflected into the arms of Loach

60:00: Plymouth are getting closer. This time a long throw is flicked on by Sheridan and Duguid's head is saved by Loach on the line, with his feet

56:00: Plymouth have a corner but Watford are able to clear

56:00: Attendance is 8,703 with 355 Watford fans

55:00: Loach makes another good save to deny Sawyer from eight yards

52:00: Kari Arnason heads just wide from eight yards

49:00: Scott Loach makes another unbelievable save. Sheridan shots from six yards out and the England Under-21 stopper again pushes the ball over the bar

46:00: Second half has kicked off

says...

Jenkins....OVERHEAD? Is that a typo? Strange things happen in the west country!

45:00: Half time and the Plymouth fans boo their side off the field. The game could easily be 5-3 to Watford but Mackay will be happy with a 1-0 lead after another good half from his side.

45:00: McNamee's deep cross is headed over by Mackie after the Plymouth forward failed to make decent contact

44:00: A smashing effort from 25 yards by Lansbury hits the post after a good knock down by Graham

substitution 43:00: Substitution McNamee is booked for a foul on Cleverley

41:00: Another Watford corner but this time Eustace heads it back across goal but Jenkins failed to make contact with his acrobatic overhead

40:00: Graham has a tame header saved by Larrieu after a Cowie cross from the left

38:00: Another Cleverley free kick is cleared by Plymouth. The Hornets seem to lack a bit of height in the box

yellow card 37:00: Yellow card Arnason is booked for a foul on Graham

36:00: Sawyer has a volley deflect narrowly wide of Watford's goal after it hit Mackie

35:00: A free kick from Cleverley in a dangerous, if wide, position is well cleared by Timar

says...

Thanks for the answer...eh...Ghost of Home Park?

28:00: Clark heads wide from eight yards but it was never going to test Loach

yellow card 27:00: Yellow card Timar is booked for a foul on Cleverley

27:00: Fletcher has a shot from 25 yards blocked bravely by Bennett

24:00: Swedish_Hornet. Lansbury was playing slightly off Graham on Saturday but he seems to be playing further forward tonight, more like a traditional striker

says...

Hope Jay`s eye is not badly hurt... Is Lansbury playing alongside Graham this time? Or just behind him which I understood was the case on Saturday?

23:00: Two corners for Plymouth but like Watford, they were unable to make the most of it and the ball was cleared

says...

HA, I reckon Jay needs that eye sight correction operation! That is funny. Keep another clean sheet and I will be happy! Be interesting to see how Dale does tonight.

21:00: A world-class save from Loach to deny Mackie again. This time the Plymouth forward was even closer to goal but Loach somehow pushed it over the bar

20:00: Amazingly, Watford's corner total is now ten but again it is cleared despite the excellent delivery

18:00: A series of corners took the game's total to eight but after Cleverley's delivery is half cleared, Cowie smashes over

15:00: Great save by Scott Loach. A long ball from a free kick is headed back across goal and Mackie headed towards the far corner but Loach palmed it away

13:00: Watford won their fifth corner so far after good build up saw Lansbury's shoot from 20 yards but it was deflected over and the corner was cleared

10:00: Watford have another corner by Cleverley and Mariappa's looping header is saved by Larrieu

says...

it says we're 1-0 up already? Problems what problems?

7:00: A Plymouth corner is eventually cleared by Watford despite Mariappa heading staright in the air initially

4:00: A second consecutive Watford corner from Cowie was half-volleyed into the top corner, via the palm of keeper Larrieu, by Cleverley

Goal icon 4:00: Goal! Goal for Watford

1:00: The game has kicked off and the first bit of action saw Watford keeper Loach fly off his line to come and collect the ball before Sheridan got there

0:00: If the updates are taking time to upload then I will apologise now as we are suffering technical problems

0:00: Jay DeMerit will miss tonight's game with Plymouth Argyle after scratching an eye putting in his contact lense. DeMerit missed Saturday's win over Barnsley with a groin injury and was expected to start tonight but his late withdrawal will see Dale Bennett deputise again. So it is the same XI as the weekend but Jure Travner is in the matchday squad for the first time following his summer move, taking Eddie Oshodi's place on the bench. Plymouth Argyle: Larrieu; McNamee, Timar, Arnason, Gary Sawyer; Clark, Duguid, Fletcher, Gow; Sheridan, Mackie. Subs: Paterson, Wright-Phillips, Fallon, Summerfield, Letheren, Judge, Folly. Watford: Loach; Hodson, Bennett, Mariappa, Doyley; Cleverley, Eustace, Jenkins, Cowie; Lansbury, Graham. Subs: Lee, Travner, Harley, Hoskins, Sordell, Bryan, Ellington. 0:00: Good evening folks. We are yet to receive the teamsheets for tonigh'ts game but I am hearing that Watford will field the same XI as Saturday after Jay DeMerit ruled himself out of tonight's game not because of his previous groin injury, but because he scratched his eye putting his contact lense in. If true, a bit bizarre but hopefully Dale Bennett can put in a similar performance as Saturday. Looking out on the pitch as the players warm up, it seems as though Jure Travner will be on the bench for the first time
