  • Referee: David Webb
  • Venue: Glanford Park
Final score:
Scunthorpe United 2 - 2 Watford

whistle icon 95:00: Final whistle Penalty with last kick of the game means Watford's winless run continues. Drama to the end at Scunthorpe

Goal icon 94:00: Goal! Hooper smashes the penalty in to the bottom corner to make it 2-2

93:00: Scunthorpe have been awarded a penalty after a shot hit DeMerit's arm

Goal icon 91:00: Goal! Ten-man Watford seem to have nicked it at the death. Eustace it seems with the header into the bottom corner

yellow card 89:00: Yellow card Forte for O'Connor

substitution 83:00: Substitution Harley for Helguson

Red card 82:00: Red card Cleverley has been sent off for a rash challenge. This led to a mass brawl as Cleverley seemed to be punched in the face by Sparrow, who somehow only escaped with a yellow

yellow card 80:00: Yellow card Williams booked for kicking the ball away

78:00: Byrne concedes a free kick 20 yards out and Lansbury's shot was comfortably over

yellow card 76:00: Yellow card Home fans are furious as Hooper was one-on-one with Loach after outmuscling Taylor but Hooper is called back and booked for a pull

75:00: Hooper had a golden opportunity to grab his second as he was left one-on-one with Loach but the keeper made an excellent save at his near post

73:00: Doyley shows great turn of pace to beat the full back as he burst into the box but the centre back just got there in time to clear

71:00: Graham is furious as referee waves away his penalty appeal after Byrne ended his run to goal

70:00: McCann and Woolford off, Togwell and Thompson on

68:00: Scunthorpe should have taken the lead once more. There were three players there who could have applied the finish but Woolford's back heel went straight to Loach

Goal icon 64:00: Goal! Graham finally ends his goal drought and against the team he last scored against more than three months ago

61:00: McCann fires a 20-yard free kick into the wall and then sliced his second effort well wide

56:00: Steady build up from Scunthorpe resulted in Woolford pulling the ball out of the air 12 yards out and Taylor needed to block his goal-bound shot

54:00: Hayes was completely free 30 yards out but his shot was well over

51:00: DeMerit glances a header over from a Cleverley corner

49:00: Watford were camped in Scunthorpe's half but long throws from Mariappa and Doyley led to nothing. Scunthorpe then broke with pace and Woolford had a powerful strike just tipped on to the bar by Loach

48:00: Attendance 5,411

yellow card 47:00: Yellow card Eustace rightly booked for a professional foul

whistle icon 45:00: Half time Watford do not deserve to be 1-0 down

Goal icon 42:00: Goal! How Watford find themselves behind I do not know. It has been all the Hornets but a pin-point through ball by O'Connor saw Hopper run through and lift the ball past Loach. Football can be a cruel game

40:00: The game has just restarted due to an injury to the lineman. He has continued though

36:00: The game has quietened down with few chances but Watford had a penalty appeal turned away when Graham was pulled down in the box

28:00: Good wing play from Mariappa sees the full back lay the ball off to Cowie and his deep cross is headed against the top of the bar by Helguson

27:00: Watford have a three on two but Cowie's through ball is behind Graham and the chance is lost

25:00: Scunthorpe win a free kick 20 yards out but O'Connor's shot is headed away by Lansbury in the wall

23:00: Good pasing from Watford earns a corner. Cowie's delivery is flicked on by Taylor and Helguson's volley bounced around the six yard box before being half cleared. Cowie crosses again and Eustace heads back across goal but Graham's header is easily saved.

19:00: The home fans want a penalty as DeMerit tackles Hayes but it would have been very harsh. Sparrow is unmarked at the back post but his knock-down header is cleared

18:00: A deep cross from Lansbury is headed across goal by Taylor but no one can get on the end of it

17:00: A dangerous corner from Cleverley is not cleared and the midfielder, after slicing a volley, sends in another cross which Graham heads well over

16:00: Cowie beat Williams to the ball on the half way line and ran deep into Scunny's half. His cross was flicked on by Helguson and Graham's volley was too central and Murphy palmed the ball out for a corner

13:00: Steady build up from Watford saw Graham volley wide from a Lansbury cross

12:00: Scunthorpe went down the other end and Taylor needed to head out for a corner as Hooper was set to head at goal

12:00: Anothert good knock down, this time from Helguso, saw a powerful goal-bound half-volley from Cleverley blocked

11:00: Cowie has started well and he dug out a deep cross which was headed on target by Graham but was easily saved by Murphy

9:00: Scunthorpe's first effort at goal from Hayes was blocked by DeMerit

7:00: A long ball from Loach sees Graham show excellent hold-up play to flick the ball to Cowie but his first-time effort was wide of the near near post

5:00: A long angled ball from Hooper almost picked out Hayes but it went out for a goal kick

3:00: Some neat play involving five Watford players almost saw Eustace slip Cleverley in but the ball ran through to the keeper

1:00: A long ball from Watford causes problems for left back Williams and it looked as though Cowie might of had the chance to get the shot away but the ball was cleared

0:00: The game has kicked off, with Watford kicking from right to left

0:00: Malky Mackay has kept faith with out-of-form striker Danny Graham as Tom Cleverley returns to the Watford side for this afternoon's clash with Scunthorpe United. Cleverely, the Hornets leading scorer with ten goals, replaces Jon Harley on the left of midfield as Mackay opts to start with two strikers up top, with Graham looking for his first goal since scoring against Scunthorpe in November. The inclusion of the Manchester United loanee is the only change from the team which beat Bristol City last week. United make three changes as Cliff Byrne replaces Rob Jones in defence and Grant McCann and Michael O'Connor replaced Sam Togwell and Josh Wright in central midfield. Scunthorpe United: Murphy; Byrne, Mirfin, Raynes, Williams; Sparrow, O'Connor, McCann, Woolford; Hayes, Hooper. Substitutes: Lillis, Thompson, Milne, Togwell, McDermott, J. Wright, Forte. Watford: Loach; Mariappa, Taylor, DeMerit, Doyley; Cowie, Eustace, Lansbury, Cleverley; Graham, Helguson. Substitutes: Lee, McGinn, Jenkins, Harley, Hoskins, Henderson, Hodson. Referee: David Webb.
