ADVICE on the myriad of post 16 educational options out there was on offer in spades at the district's first centralised careers' fair.
Epping Forest College, in Borders Lane, Loughton, hosted a number of businesses and sixth forms at the event which was targeted at GCSE students looking to the future.
Area planning group coordinator for Epping Forest schools Geoff Mangan said: “In the past, two or three schools have organised their own events but this time for the first time we centralised it at the college. The way employment is going, companies are finding it hard to come to lots of small events. For them it's much better to come to one large one and see people in one go.
“It was a very big success not only in terms of businesses and employers but also it was really busy with lots of children .
“It's useful not only to look at the options but to sort out questions around changes in education. There's all sort of things like diplomas on offer now.”
