Direction from Watford by Road: Join the M1 until Junction 37, where you take the third exit on to the A628. Follow the A628 for around three miles and over the first roundabout until you reach the Alhambra Shopping Centre. At the roundabout take the second exit on to the A61 and then immediately branch to the left back on to the A628. Follow the signs for the stadium as you turn right on to Pontefract Road. Follow for around a mile before turning left on to Grove Street
Direction from Watford by train:Can travel from Watford Junction to Birmingham New Street direct, then head for Sheffield Station before the 25-minute trip to Barnsley. The station is about a ten minute walk from the stadium
Car parking:There is a large car park at the stadium but if you do not arrive early enough then you should be able to find some on-street parking

Where to eat: The stadium is very close to the town centre which means there are a host of places to eat. There is a small cafe called Bon Appetite not far from the end of Grove Street which is recommended.
Where to drink: Most away supporters recommend going into the Metrodome Leisure Centre on Queens Road, which is a five minute walk away from the ground, as some of the pubs nearby are not away-fan friendly
