Direction from Watford by Road: Join the M1 southbound at Junction 5, before continuing to Junction 1, where the third exit on the roundabout joins the North Circular. After approximately four and a half miles, leave the roundabout at the second exit and join Western Avenue for another two miles. Turn right on to Old Oak Road, before turning left after half a mile on to Uxbridge Road. Loftus Road will appear shortly on the left.

Direction from Watford by train:From Watford Underground station, take the Metropolitan Line towards Baker Street, then leave the train at Finchley Road. From there, take the Jubilee Line towards Stratford and alight at Bond Street, before taking the Central Line towards West Ruislip. You will then reach your final destination at White City.

Or: Drive to West Ruislip and take the Central Line straight to White City, where you will find Loftus Road a short walk away.

Car parking:Restricted roadside parking is available in the surrounding area, at a cost of £5.40 for three hours. There is also a car park in the Ariel Way industrial estate, opposite the BBC television centre at the end of Silver Road and costs £6.

Where to eat:The Uxbridge Road provides a wide range of food outlets, ranging from burger bars and chip shops, to Lebanese and Jamaican take-aways.

Where to drink:O'Neill's and Walkabout around Shepherd's Bush Green are suitable for away fans but travelling supporters are advised that the Springbok pub near the ground is now a home fans only establishment.
