Watford Ladies Development team came from behind to defeat Regent Park Rangers 3-1 in the London & SE Regional Women’s Football League on Sunday.

Rangers opened the scoring but Watford responded in the second half and equalised through Aimee Durn.

Sian Fiskin put the Golden Girls ahead and Durn’s second goal sealed the victory.

The Under-17 Wasps eased to a 4-0 victory over St Joseph Youth in the Herts Girls Football Partnership League.

Kelly Asojo scored early in the first half after a strong run through the centre and Alice Heady extended Watford’s lead from close range.

Carly Gilbey and Alice Heady netted after the break while Anna Beaman was the player of the match for her creativity.

The Under-15 Wasps secured a 2-0 away victory over St Albans South.

Samantha Cottam opened the scoring and player of the match Becky Holmes extended the lead.

Watford Under-15s Harts were beaten 7-0 at home to St Albans North.

The Under-13 Hornets cruised to a 9-1 win over Denham United.

Rebecca Lovelace, Charli O’Connor and Kelsey Mugford bagged braces and there was one apiece for Eloise Waring, Ciara Purdue and Sasha Williams.

Defender Millie Thomson was named player of the match.

Watford’s Under-12s secured their first victory of the season, beating Garston Ladies 3-1.

Mia Brown fired Watford in front before Grace Barker-Roberts doubled their lead.

Star player Charlie Clark then set up Barker-Roberts for her second of the game to seal the win.

The Under-11 Harts defeated Harvesters after Millie Tugby’s individual effort in the first half.

Bliss Murray opened the scoring for the Under-11 Hornets in their game against Tottenham Ladies.
