Watford Ladies Under-13s Harts came out on top in an intra-club derby against the Hornets, winning 3-2 and ending their unbeaten league record.

The Harts, County Cup champions, opened the scoring courtesy of a well-placed shot by Lola Forsyth which found the bottom corner of the net.

However, the Hornets, who are league champions, levelled through Ciara Bailey after the break, only for the Harts to retake the lead once again as Roma Agnihotri’s free-kick sailed into the top corner.

But the Hornets responded when a superb cross by Anna Black was tapped home by Josie Layton.

And the Hornets’ unbeaten league record looked like staying intact until Amy Doherty’s cross was fired home by Neve Mayes to seal victory for the Harts with just seconds of the encounter remaining.

The Under-17 Wasps came off second best against Enfield Town in a 3-2 defeat.

Goals by Julia Waller and Carly Gilbey were not enough to secure victory for the Golden Girls, who finished third in the league standings.

Watford will be looking for revenge in their final match of the season when they face Enfield again in the League Cup Final.

Despite only being able to field eight players in their nine-a-side double header with Bury Rangers, the Under-12s took a point in a 2-2 draw in the first match.

Grace Barker-Roberts and Lucy Winter scored for the Golden Girls, who lost the second game 2-0.
