With a spate of postponements Watford Ladies’ Under-18 Wasps were the most senior side in action, losing 3-1 to Whetstone Wanderers.

A goal from Carl Gilbey wasn’t enough to prevent the Wasps falling to defeat in the Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership League.

The Under-16 Wasps fared no better, going down 7-1 at home to Enfield Town Ladies Under-16s.

Amee Culloty got the goal for Watford and scooped Player of the Match for her endeavours too.

The Under-14 Harts were beaten 3-0 at home by Tottenham, Grace Harrington catching the eye to win the Player of the Match gong.

Alice Wharlow found the back of the net but her goal was scant consolation for Watford.

In the Capital Girls’ League, the Under-12 Hornets picked up a resounding 6-1 win over Brent Girls.

Kayra Karakus (2), Chiara Lape, Hannah Perkins, Catherine Reeves and T’yana Nee-Chambers all got on the scoresheet for the home side.
