Watford Ladies’ Youth Development Team breezed to a 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Greater London Women’s Football League on Sunday.

Goals from Ellen Clarabut, Aimee Durn and Sian Fisken leave the Hornets a point behind leaders Queens Park Rangers with three games in hand.

The Under-18 Wasps stormed to a 4-2 victory over St Joseph Youth.

Two goals from player of the match Carly Gilbey, including a stunning strike from 30 yards, plus further goals from Julia Waller and Meg Walsh made sure of the points.

The Under-14 Harts lost 3-2 against Denham United.

An excellent Amy Doherty strike gave the Harts the lead. But they were pegged back just before half time.

Molly Thomas Conlon restored the Harts’ advantage following a lovely team move but Denham equalised again.

As Watford pushed forward the home side found a winner on the break late on.

The Under-12 Harts were also edged out in a 2-1 home defeat against Garston Ladies Jaguars.

Emily Rollinger scored the Harts’ goal while Georgina Brass and goalkeeper Paige Rusher were joint players of the match.
