Vicarage Road will host its second Women’s Super League 2 game on Monday, May 16 when Watford Ladies entertain London Bees.

The fixture has been moved forward two days to be played at the home of the Hornets and will kick off at 7.45pm.

The decision to play another match at Vicarage Road has been expected after the Golden Girls became a full part of Watford FC and general manager Ellie Kemp was “very confident” it would happen when she spoke at the club’s season launch last month.

“I’m currently in conversation with the club around that,” she said when asked about the prospect in March. “We’re looking at confirming what date or what game that might be, but obviously it will be at the back end or the men’s season.

“But the conversations are being had and we’re very confident we’ll be in a position to get a game confirmed here which will be fantastic for the girls.”

More than 1,100 fans were in attendance when Watford Ladies played their first match at Vicarage Road in March last year, a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa.
