Tom Cleverley was the resounding choice as the Watford Observer Player of the Season almost 12 months ago but who will succeed him as the 39th holder of the prestigious trophy?

The time has again arrived for you to help decide as, in association with Watford FC, we begin our annual search for the top Hornets player of the Championshp campaign - and give you the chance to win a pair of tickets to watch Malky Mackay's men in action at Coventry City on Saturday, April 2.

You can also have your say on who should follow Lloyd Doyley as the next recipient of the Goal of the Season trophy. If you wish to refresh your memory and see this season's contenders again before voting, simply click on the video link above.

A system of one person, one vote will be utilised and this will be strictly enforced. Votes received without an accompanying name, address and phone number will not be accepted.

As in previous years, the Hornets’ travelling fans will be canvassed, as well as the Watford players, before the winners are announced at the club’s awards dinner at Shendish Manor on Sunday, May 1.

When you vote, please use the identification letter for Goal of the Season to assist with counting and the deadline for voting in all categories is Wednesday, April 13.

But to be in with a chance of winning the tickets to the Coventry game, you must cast your vote by midnight on Sunday. The winner, who will be selected at random from all valid votes received by then, will be informed early next week.
