Watford midfielder Stephen McGinn is currently on trial at Coventry City.
McGinn has not played for the Hornets first team since February 2011 due to a serious knee injury and new head coach Gianfranco Zola is keen for the Scot to secure game time out on loan.
Speaking two weeks ago, Zola said: "I’m very pleased with him. He’s been training excellently, his attitude is magnificent and it’s just a pity that right now there’s not an opportunity for me to give him a game.
"I spoke to him and obviously if we can find a way where he can go for a while and play some games it will be ideal for him, it will be a lot of benefit for him. But as far as I’m concerned, I’m happy with him, he’s a quality player and he just needs to play."
McGinn, who joined from St Mirren in January 2010, has scored twice in 42 appearances for Watford and began his return to first-team action with a handful of appearances for the Reserves towards the end of last season.
The 23-year-old signed a new one-year contract in the summer, and the Hornets have the option of activating a second year.
McGinn impressed during yesterday's game where a Coventry XI lost 2-1 to Leeds United's Development Squad.

Er no lads ....he's not on loan because the window is shut and he can only play for Cov in these "development games" until his loan becomes official in January - that's of course, if he's not sold or released.
Mana from heaven for the anti football numptys

Good if McGinn can get some game time elseware to build his fitness and confidence!
Anyway WO is there gonna be more pointless news tomorrow? Any Dyche updates? Would love to know what Steve Perryman and Glenn Roeder are up to? Lol

He is however thrilled to know that people still remember him.
That was the first manager I remember and his team. Walker, welbourne, Williams, Eddy, Franks, Garbett, Scullion, Lugg, Endean....
He was very much a legend for taking us into the old division two for the first time in our history, and when we talk about budgets, well he really did work on a shoestring.

Thanks for the info, LD. Absolutly agree with the above---come on, W.O., just for once give us a chance to show our appreciation for someone while they are still with us. A manager who gained promotion on a budget smaller than the Club's present office petty cash, and broght in such players as Scully, Eddy, Walley, Endean----.
But agree with above sentiments, an article would cheer an ailing old man.
And he did like taking his players fell walking for training!
