Watford youngsters in loan moves to Wealdstone and Chesham United

Two of Watford's younger players have become the latest to leave Vicarage Road on loan.

Aaron Tumwa has joined the long list of Hornets to make the short-term move to Wealdstone by joining Gordon Bartlett's side until December 22, while Matt Bevans has also moved to a local club, Chesham United, for 30 days as he continues his return from a serious knee injury last season.

This shows a change in direction. A lot more youngsters seem to be getting the opportunity of first team football so as to gauge their abilities in a competitive environment. Despite all the worries about the academy this season their are a lot more youngsters getting the opportunity to prove themselves this year, three players on five year contracts with another two in discussions
