Watford help Portsmouth by recalling Dickinson early
Watford have given Portsmouth a helping hand by ending Carl Dickinson's loan spell prematurely.
Dickinson's one-month loan at Fratton Park was due to end on Thursday but The Hornets agreed to recall the defender early as he was suspended and it would enable Pompey to sign another loanee, as there is a restriction on the number of players allowed in their squad.

Yes no doubt on the free transfer list ready for posting on 1st January with Iwelumo; Wichelow; Hodson; Buabon; Nolsworthy; Jenkins; Garner, etc

Nosworthy is an important part of our squad although currently injured.
Please keep up.

Gianfranco will have a headache in culling our squad in January. And i am certain he has a couple of players pencilled in to come to us.

Prince when fit might well fit into Zola's midfield group if he didn't then he is worth a fee.
I doubt Hodson will leave but if he did as an international we would get a fee.
Zola clearly had a liking for Garner earlier in the season, I think he will go for a fee but wouldn't be hugely surprised to see him retained for a while now that he is scoring again.

Noseworthy transformed our season last year and I wouldnt let him go and certainly not for free,

Dickinson did have a wee good spell with us. Do not like Pompey, well their fans. Hope Carl finds a club soon. Must be sad for Pompey fans to be in dire straights. As an aside, just hope that the Bedfordshire things do not make the play-offs this year.

Agree with you to a certain extent but I can't see Zola giving Bauban or Nosworthy a free transfer! Zola will try to give them both more game time as I believe they still have got what it takes to get into the first team squad!
Also we can't sell or release all our owned players as some of the loanees may not be here next season!
Just goes to show how far Warford has come as a club since the change of ownership!

As for booting Nosworthy out are you sure?? He is a solid player and the type of player all teams need to keep, even if he is only used as back up, but personally still think he is worthy a place for keeping others on their toes, lets face it our defence is still the issue compared to last year when it was our front line!
