Loaned out 5 times by Stoke and twice by us. There you have it....never consistent enough to hold own a first team place. Showed lots of "Robbo style" promise in the early days but is not likely to feature in Zola's plans. Wish him well at Coventry.

Great spirit, great attitude but truly out of his depth at championship level, I have never seen a fullback with such little awareness of the opposition right winger and getting pulled underneath the ball! Best of luck none the less

Remember Dicko being touted as the next Robbo last season and he is a good left back, not a centre half yet. Hopefully in his move back to the Midlands he can learn from Mr. Robins and take the next step up in his career. Wish him the best of luck at Coventry City.

Glad to see him go and get games else ware as he just isn't good enough to be in a top championship side... Of which we are now!
No fault of his own, just the way it is!
Wish you the best of luck Dicko

I'm afraid I don't recall anyone touting him as the next Robbo last season. I do recall the expression "Robbo tribute act" which is something entirely different!

Good luck to him anyway. It was never for want of trying......

Well Mayo, Darlington, Stewart, Sadler, Harley and A.Taylor since Robbo. Dicko was a physical presence at left back, something we missed for years hence the "Robbo" label. Wholehearted tackles and sheer endeavour. Don't forget he was part of that Stoke side that went up in 2008. Coventry are a side on the up and am delighted he has chosen to join them. We'll be looking for you bud.

Nothing but good luck to Carl. Always tried hard for us and seems like a nice guy. He's just unfortunate that our takeover in the summer meant his services are no longer required

When he was signed the Watford Observer described him as 'whole-hearted'. An apt description. He gives it his all but, like so many of the signings last year, his lack of ability could not be masked by any amount of enthusiasm. He is better suited to the divisioin below, and we wish him well.

He's only gone for a month, isn't it a bit too soon to be saying our fond farewells.
On March 12th we might have to write "Welcome back.... even though you're not good enough".
