A section of angry Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters are planning to stage a protest outside the club's ground at Friday night's Championship game against Watford.

The group, who call themselves the Wolves Supporters Alliance (WSA), plan to demonstrate in front of the Sky Sports cameras outside the Billy Wright Stand before and after the match.

The section of Wolves fans are furious with what they see as a lack of transparency at the club and the WSA website says they want to be able to ask questions of owner Steve Morgan and chief executive Jez Moxey.

Wolves' club spokesman Matt Grayson told the Express & Star: “We’re constantly talking with fans and we share their huge disappointment at results on the pitch.

"They have delivered great backing to the team throughout all the games and we’d ask our supporters to continue with that at a time when it’s needed more than ever.

"We’ll be repeating this request at Wednesday’s Fans Parliament meeting, where we’ll be answering all supporters’ questions.”

The WSA group though wants to provide fans with an alternative voice to the official Fans Parliament and raise issues including: the club's transfer policy, the decision to re-build the Stan Cullis Stand, the hiring policy of managers and the development of the training ground.

Wolves are yet to record a win this year and currently sit 22nd in the Championship table, 20 places below Watford.

My experience of Wolves fans are that they are arrogant and rather unpleasant. Another lot that think that they are such a big club that they deserve to be in the Premiership. Well how about you give the 1st division a go first?

Really hope we beat them partly for that reason but mainly cos we need the points to keep up our charge. I think it will be a very tough game though.

Why even bother with this FFS!!!

Is it aimed at us?...... NO
Will we be involved...... NO
Will it affect our game...NO
Should we give a toss...NO

But casting minds back were we not thinking along the same lines less than a year ago with "Darling Bas" so should you really be slating fans for worrying about the running of there club, we better than any (excluding Pompey) know better than anyone!!!!

Even when things are going great for us a certain few numbnuts seem to worry about everyone else (Holloway, Wolves etc etc) rather than concentrating on supporting the Golden Boys and helping to push them to the Prem!!!!

Never liked going to Wolves - thoroughly unpleasant bunch from my experiences (about 6 or7 trips I think). Even had trouble with a bunch in Lanzarote once for pity's sake including two of the fatest and ugliest ' women' I've ever seen. Must admit I'm a bit worried about this one as surely they have to win some time. Don' t get me wrong, I think we are capable of handing out a tonking, particularly if we play our strongest11 and grab the first goal. Defo must start with Deeney and the Otter. Just get the three points boys and let the rest worry about catching us up.

This could be a potential banana skin but we would of had a good rest and Zola knows he must play our strongest side so Deeney and Vydra upfront it is!

Been to Wolves once, wont go back. Horrible place that saw a couple of friends attacked and headbutted as they walked back to their car.

If GT had not persauded Elton to retract he would have been our top scorer in the reserves for the following two years.

But he had to join HIS club Celtic, you know the same Celtic he almost joined after his French experience. Remeber the Saturday he was paraded around Celtic Park on the Saturday and signed for Rangers on the Monday.

A good striker but an apology for a man...
