Fitz Hall is still training with the Hornets despite his contract expiring and the club changing head coach, the Watford Observer understands.
Hall's one-month deal, which was agreed towards the end of Gianfranco Zola's reign, expired just before Christmas.
New boss Beppe Sannino replaced Zola towards the end of the player's short-term contract but we understand he has allowed the player to still train with the club.
Hall made one start and one substitute appearance after Zola decided to re-sign the player following a string of defensive injuries.
The 33-year-old excelled in his 22 outings for the Hornets last season but after the player initially delayed contract talks, the club’s hierarchy decided to opt for other options in the summer.
Hall has been training with the club most of this season, apart from a brief trial at Millwall.
