The Hornets will not be targeting any more signings when the loan window re-opens later this week, the Watford Observer has been told.
Watford signed three players in the final few days of the January transfer window, with holding midfielders Daniel Tozser and Samba Diakite, plus striker Park Chu-Young, all arriving on loan.
The Golden Boys had been close to making other signings, such as Fulham's George Boateng and Livorno forward Luca Siligardi, prior to the window closing and other players arriving.
But we have this week been told the Hornets will not be making any further additions, injury permitting, when the loan window re-opens after filling the problem position of holding midfield and signing a pacey striker.
On his club's business during the transfer window, head coach Beppe Sannino said: "I was happy with the players I had at the club anyway but the club knew about some positions we needed cover and reacted so I am pleased."
