Pat Molloy died at the age of 83.
Prior to joining Watford, he had run away from home to join the King's Royal Rifles, became a fairground boxer, joined Bomber Command during World War Two, qualified as a carpenter whilst playing wing-half for a string of clubs, and managed the Turkish national side.
He had subsequently spent 41 years as a much valued member of the training staff at Vicarage Road.
