Watford accepted an offer in excess of £1m from Fulham for Icelandic striker and reigning Player of the Season Heidar Helguson.

Helguson would go on to spend three-and-a-half injury-interrupted seasons in the top flight with Fulham and Bolton Wanderers.

Heidar seems to be happy back home in Iceland, according to Ollie Phillip's article from a few weeks ago. Was prone to injuries at times but had his best years with us. Not a servant of the club - hate that term -
