Watford’s League Cup first round clash against Stevenage will take place on Tuesday, August 12 at the Lamex Stadium.
The game, which will kick off at 7.45pm, takes place three days after the Hornets’ Championship campaign begins with a home match against Bolton Wanderers.
Watford were due to take on Stevenage in a pre-season friendly on July 19 but that game was cancelled following the cup draw.
