Watford Supporters' Club resigned from their national federation.
In a letter, reproduced in the Watford Observer, representative W.E.Govan protested at the lack of discussion at a recent meeting of the previously mooted award of a shield to the supporters club with the highest membership.
He went on to assert that: "We are of the same opinion as our friends from the north; that the business of the federation should be run on a more broad-minded basis."
